It all started thanks to Bumble – the app that brought us together, and just like that, we hit it off like a perfect match on the field. Our first date? A laid-back walk around the lake followed by a dinner. But Amanda didn’t waste any time. On the way home, she called her parents smiling huge and said, “I can totally see this guy becoming my husband!” (Spoiler alert: she was right).

From the start, Amanda saw Ryan’s loyalty and passion – they were evident straight away. He’s someone who shows up for the people he cares about, whether it’s supporting his friends, family, or cheering on his favorite Minnesota sports teams. His dedication to those around him is unwavering, and anyone lucky enough to know him feels that warmth and reliability. Ryan shares that Amanda brings joy and laughter wherever she goes. Her kindness is boundless, and her empathetic nature makes her the heart of every room she enters. She has this incredible ability to make people feel understood and valued – a true gift. Together, we complement each other perfectly, creating a love that’s both steady and full of life and laughter.

The first year of our relationship was a little different – thanks to peak COVID – but we made the most of it by bonding over all things Minnesota sports. From the Vikings’ nail-biting games to Wild hockey, Twins baseball, the Wolves, and even golf – which, to Amanda's surprise, became something she actually enjoyed watching and playing. We spent more time in front of the TV than we’d ever imagined, but it was worth it. Sports weren’t just a hobby; they became a way for us to connect, laugh, and support each other through the highs and lows. Through every victory and defeat, Ryan’s loyalty to his teams and Amanda's joy in sharing those moments with him made it clear that we were in it together, no matter what.

And speaking of “in it together,” let’s not forget our adorable cat daughter, Millie. From her mischievous antics to the way she snuggles up for cozy evenings on the couch, Millie has definitely added another layer of love and joy to our home. We both share a deep love for our family – whether it’s our parents, friends, or our fur baby – and it’s the center of everything we do. Together, we’ve built a life full of laughter, love, and adventure, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Five years later, we’re still cheering on our favorite teams, sharing quiet nights with Millie, and celebrating the biggest win of all – our love!
